How to conditionally show elements in templates
Templates are used to dynamicially design your product images. However, sometimes you need to only show certain elements if certain criteria is meet.
Common use cases:
- Only show discount if the product is on sale
- Only show quantity if below a given threshold
- Only show brand-logo for a certain brand
The number of use cases are endless, and instead of having to create a template for each use case, you can use conditions directly in the template. Conditions makes templates very flexibile and allows for some very nice templates.
How to add a condition to a specific element
You can create as many conditions as you like. Start by selecting your element and then add the condition as shown in the video.
How to add a condition to a group of elements
Instead of having to add the same conditions to multiple individual elements, you can add a condition to a group of elements. Start by grouping the elements into a group and then apply the condition afterwards to that group.
TIP
If you want to select multiple elements, you can hold down the ⌘ key (Mac) or ctrl key (Windows) and click on the layers you want to select.
